Cramer-Damgard-Maurer’s VSS scheme can easily be extended to commutative modules. Let R be a commutative ring and K be a finite Abelian group such that it is an R-module. Now, assume that the entries of G are over the commutative ring R and the entries of a codeword over the finite Abelian group K. We finally assume that G had h+1 rows that form an invertible matrix. Evidently, as before, we assume G corresponds to a secret sharing scheme.
