The FacultyOfSecurityStudies has declared the year 2004 to be the last. Yes, on 31 Dec 2004 the world will end (again). To celebrate this grand occasion, we will be holding our final event on Apocalypse Eve, there wont be much else to do, so we might as well have a party. While we wait for this last day, we will hold a countdown event once a month to educate ourselves about all the plans, hopes, fears and dreams about The End that people have entertained over the years.

Countdown events will normally take the form of a speech by a guest speaker, followed by the screening of an appropriate film. Events may or may not be enhanced with a dinner or other random features. If possible (and voluntary donations permitting), films will be purchesd for the LimehouseCampusLibrary.

There are still many months to plan, so please make suggestions for events and apocalypse scnearios worthy of study.
