OtherUoServers
From UoWiki
This server (twenteenthcentury.com/uo) has been the uo wiki home for ages. Recently, the FacultyUnix split off and escaped to http://darq.org.uk. This was a very good idea - the more uo servers there are, the better.

[edit] Why have your own uo server?
- Having a server is good training.
- Having many uo servers is more robust to nuclear apocalypse and other disasters.
- This server is going off-line on the 31st December 2004. (debatable ).
[edit] How?
- If you need help setting up your own uo servers, try coming to the FacultyUnix classes.
- alternatively, post to the UoMailingList and surely someone will be happy to help
[edit] How do I back up my contributions to the Uo wiki?
- You may quickly and easily make a clone of this uo wiki by going to the PhpWikiAdministration page and doing a 'zip dump' of the wiki. This can be restored to a new version of phpwiki... or just saved in case this server goes off line.
- You may quickly and easily make a backup of the uo mailing list and all your contributions to it by downloading the full raw archive of the list and saving it somewhere.
