[edit] Notes

Two excellent meetings - information sharing and Semweb discussions resulted in some preliminary ideas about extending Foafcorp vocabularies to describe corporate administrative control structures.

The next step is to use the mutemap experimental ontology builder to create, annotate and extend relevant vocabularies (spacenamespace , foafcorp , geo etc.) then to scrape or syndicate an existing data source, enter other useful bits of info, then start playing with visualisations on a simple set of geographical maps.

Here are some of the notes about how to describe administrative control structures - starting from a point in space, or a physical building address (not noted here as that much is covered by spacenamespace ).

[edit] Note 0

Mapping Process:

  • Move from known to unknown - i.e. from their language to our language.
