LettingGoOfIt
From UoWiki
An interesting fact of downhill mountainbike racing is that if you look at the rocks, you'll hit them. If you look past them, you'll fly safely through. Another version of this law is the curious fact that people who don't care about getting laid manage it easily, whereas people desperate for lovin' often languish for years.
If you're overly obsessed with an outcome (lust of result) you won't get it: desire can be the sole obstacle to its own fulfilment.
Techniques for letting go of it vary: for example, a common strategy to end a ritual of SettingTheIntent is 'Banish with laughter '. Elsewhere, many sages of the will (not all of them knowingly magicians) advise writing intents on paper and then deliberately losing the paper.
'Letting go of it' amounts to conscious deployment of the unconscious, on the basis that it's conscious and so is the world it filters. Simple, really? Not at all - arguably this is the most difficult bit of the lot.
