I don't think there's a conflict now - more conflux. UnkemptBreakfast added the following in confusion, then replaced the announcement on the FacultyOfProblemSolving page because it was good and made sense. The confusion was internal and due to negative conditioning and fear induced by ontological insecurity.
Outline: The addition to the announcement of the FacultyOfProblemSolving 's first meeting of an introduction to fuckographix led to a small conflict. This was probably because this was the first FOPS meeting, and the FOPS researcher who wrote the invitation was not aware that the study of Fuckology was going on at the Uo, or that the study of fuckographix, specifically the relation of the peripatetic computer to the QuantumTimeBomb, related to FacultyOfProblemSolving research interests. There was also some worry that the word 'fuck' in the announcement would scare off potential attendees to the FOPS_Meet. This is debatable, but an understandable concern.
Action taken: A news page was made on the fuckology department page, similar to the other FacultyNews pages, and the announcement was put there. This page was made as a log of what had happened.
Comments: This might not be the best reaction, and there are probably valuable lessons to be learned from InterFacultyConflict, which is essential and a good thing. The policies of wikis such as Wikipedia , as demonstraded on this page about the CartographicCongress, are fairly lame. Surely we can do better. Comments?

Following the upgrade of the uo wiki to a new server, there seems to be a struggle going on between researchers who want the name of the FacultyFuckology to appear on the home page, and those who want it changed to: Fuck off you ponsey wankers, Fuck off!, Fack, PORNOGRAPHY IS THE THEORY RAPE IS THE PRACTICE, and other alternative titles linking to the faculty.
