[edit] What is a Known Associate?

Known Associates of the Faculty include:

  • Visiting students from other institutions
  • Naive innocents who are friends of friends of Students
  • Former Students who have apparently moved on

The fact that a person is listed as a Known Associate doesn't mean that a direct connection exists between them and the Faculty - merely that in the Brownian scheme of things, particles have collided and information has been exchanged. Known Associates are perfectly at liberty to deny everything and remove their names from the list (or to reinstate themselves as Students if they prefer).
